Against All Evil
Rick L. Evans CEO & Ministry Consultant Creative Consultants Inc.

Recently in America we were able to see a clear picture of "evil." We all saw the news footage of the terrorists as they flew our jets into the "World Trade Center." As the buildings collapsed, life in America was changed forever. This Evil was easy to see and easy to identify, but evil has many faces and most of which are invisible in our everyday life. A man is sitting at the bar has a few drinks. He leaves the bar and gets behind the wheel of his car. As he approaches the intersection he doesn't notice that the light has turned red. He never saw the pedestrian in the crosswalk. He has changed his life and the life of his victim forever. This is the face of evil. A woman is leaving her apartment to meet a friend for dinner. As she puts the key in her car door, she hears a noise behind her. Before she can turn around, she is knocked to the ground and brutally beaten. No one hears her screams for help until the perpetrator has vanished into the cold black night. This is the face of evil. A young boy is walking home from school when he notices that he is being followed by a group of his schoolmates. Feeling uncomfortable, he walks a little faster. The boys following him match his pace and begin to gain on him. Before he can break into a run and get away, he is tackled and wrestled to the ground. He is punched and kicked for no reason other than his race or religion. This is the face of evil.
No matter what face you put on it, we have been dealing with "evil" for a long time. Let’s not just make our stand against a few terrorists, but rather, let’s make our stand "Against All Evil." Who knows, maybe someday we will live in a world where drunk drivers do not kill innocent people, and a woman can leave her home without the fear of being accosted, or our youth will enjoy the knowledge that "all men are created equal." This challenge will start with you and me making the decision that we are going to stand "Against All Evil." Email or write us with your story "Against All Evil" at www.wordfaithfellowship.org today. Let us know how you stood against any wrong done to you or someone you know. Join the WFF staff and make your stand "Against All Evil" and let your voice be heard.
